Enjoy a memorable encounter with fascinating owls and their mysterious world. UglernesVerden is home to 30 owls, 14 of which are completely tame, giving you the chance to meet them at close range.

The experience is exciting, but also wonderfully relaxing, allowing you to slow down and unwind.

Get close to the owls – in the forest

Visit one of the few places in Europe where you can get this close to owls.

First, you will learn plenty of interesting facts about the owls. You will then hold the owls on your arms before heading into the forest. Here, you will take turns walking with the different owls and learn how to fly them on a line.

This experience is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or children in pushchairs, as the walk takes place in natural woodland. Please bring suitable shoes or boots and wear long trousers.

This option is ideal for people with reduced mobility and younger children. You can meet the owls in relaxed surroundings and get answers to all your questions about them. Coffee, tea and juice will be served.

Watch a real hawk fly directly over your head or between your legs during a woodland walk where the hawk is allowed to fly freely.
