Fynshoved
The outer part of the peninsula Hindsholm is called Fynshoved (Funen's Head) and is one of the prettiest places in Denmark.

Knudshoved Halvøen, natural area
The Peninsula Knudshoved consists of sand and gravel. This material is eroded on the coast north of Nyborg and carried by the current southwards where the material has been deposited as a peninsula.

Tarup-Davinde
The landscape is changing rapidly. Gravel excavation is turning the region into an area of lakes. This is the largest area af gravel excavation in Fyn County. The area has supplied gravel to country for the pasrt century, and looks set to continue doing so for the next 50 years. The Ibjerg Esker was formed in a crack in the base of a glacier. The esker is protected.
