Bridgewalking - The prospect of something special

Go on a bridge walk for your next excursion and create unforgettable memories with Bridgewalking Little Belt.

Bridgewalking on the Old Little Belt Bridge
Are you looking for something truly unique for your next excursion? Try bridgewalking. Only three places in the world offer the chance to walk on top of a bridge, and the only place in Europe is the Old Little Belt Bridge. With Bridgewalking Little Belt, you are guaranteed a rush of adrenaline and an experience out of the ordinary.

Experience the Little Belt from above
On a bridge walk, you will experience the Old Little Belt Bridge and the Little Belt in a completely new way. The tour takes place in the upper part of the bridge’s steel structure, sixty metres above the water, giving you an amazing view of the Little Belt, Fredericia, and Middelfart. During your walk, you will get close to the bridge’s special steel construction and feel it vibrate when one of the large freight trains passes beneath you. One of Bridgewalking Little Belt’s skilled guides will join you and share stories about the construction of the bridge as well as the area’s history and nature. The Little Belt is home to one of the world’s largest populations of harbour porpoises, so if you are lucky, you may spot a few of these small whales during your walk.

Bridgewalking Little Belt: the perfect excursion
Bridgewalking Little Belt makes it easy to plan your next outing. Each bridge walk takes place in groups of up to twenty people, making it an ideal group activity. Looking for the perfect event for a bachelor or bachelorette party? Start the day while still sober with a one of a kind experience on the Old Little Belt Bridge, and continue the celebrations afterwards. You can also try bridgewalking with friends or family, or as part of a larger corporate event or team building activity.

Bridgewalking Little Belt is always ready to help you create the perfect excursion for your group.

Bridge walk in both summer and winter
Bridgewalking on the Old Little Belt Bridge is something special in any weather and every season. In spring, you can see the coastal woodland come to life and watch the sun reflect on the water. In autumn, the treetops turn into a sea of deep red and golden colours, while the restless Little Belt creates white crested waves in winter. No two bridge walks on the Old Little Belt Bridge are ever the same, so it is never a drawback if one or more of you have tried bridgewalking before. Nature in the Little Belt is constantly changing, and your guide will always have new stories to share.

The tour on the Little Belt Bridge: good to know
Your bridge walk starts at the Bridgewalking Little Belt welcome centre at Galsklintvej 2 in Middelfart. At the starting point, your guide welcomes you, explains the tour, goes through safety procedures, and helps you into the safety equipment. The route is approximately two point five kilometres long in total, and participants are required to be in reasonably good physical shape, as there are several flights of stairs along the way.
Please note that it is not allowed to bring any items on the tour. Your guide will offer a safety box where you can store keys, wallets, phones, and other small belongings while you are bridgewalking. This means you cannot take photos during the walk, but your guide will take photos of you on top of the bridge, which you can download afterwards.
