Enjoy the Christmas spirit of Bogense
The old market town on Nordfyn oozes Christmas atmosphere every year in November and December. Especially Adelsgade has many hidden gems. Take a walk through Adelsgade and enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights. The tour takes you past Hempels Gård. Over time, this special building has served as both a dyeing and butcher shop. Today the home is privately owned and listed. If you are into even more urban history, you will also come across Nordfyns oldest house on Adelgade 44 th . In 2020 the building has been there for 600 years.

Of course you can also not visit Bogense without greeting little Mannekin Pis. But wait, do you think it is not in Brussels? Yes, yes, but in Adelgade you will find a copy of the little peeing boy. And at Christmas time he is dressed in fine Santa clothes. From Adelgade you can also follow in the footsteps of the guards on The Watchman’s Path along the town stream. You can also stroll to Adelgade 58 and see the world's (perhaps) oldest holly. The large beautiful holly with thousands of red berries gives a good shot Christmas mood.
