Hofmansgave Park

Hofmansgave Park is the manor house Hofmansgave's large park, which was laid out more than 200 years ago right next to Odense Fjord - open all year round!

In the beautiful park at the manor house of Hofmansgave you can see rare and beautiful plants, flowers and trees from all over the world.

The park covers an area of 70,000 m² and contains a wealth of interesting features, such as maidenhair trees and French dwarf fruit trees. Don’t forget to enjoy the view of Odense Fjord.
The park was laid out in the Romantic style and includes many different gardens. "The Alps" in the western part, is a mountain-like landscape constructed of boulders around 1855, whilst the southern part contains various botanical experiments.

The Hofman-Bang family were scientists and botanists, who collected exotic plants from the all over the world for the park, which is over 200 years old.

Practical information

The park is open from sunrise to sunset all year round.

It's not allowed to bring food or coffee into the park.

Danmarks Kartoffelmuseum (the Danish Potato Museum) is also located in the park. This museum is open from Easter until October.
