Welcome to the Cherry Festival in Kerteminde
Every year, Kerteminde hosts its Cherry Festival, where everyone is welcome to take part.
Under the motto see, hear and taste, you can enjoy a wide range of art, music, culinary experiences and other entertainment. The setting is the beautiful and atmospheric town of Kerteminde, which combines both historic and modern architecture.
The Cherry Festival is rooted in the long-standing tradition of cherry cultivation in northeastern Funen. The many hours of sunshine and the relatively mild climate create particularly favourable conditions for fruit growing in this part of Funen.
It was therefore only natural to celebrate the sweet and juicy fruit with its own festival, which led to the creation of the Cherry Festival in 2005.
