Christmas markets on Fyn and the islands

This Christmas, Egeskov Castle turns into a festive fairytale. On November 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28–29 and December 5-6, you’ll find one of Denmark’s most charming Christmas markets right in the heart of Fyn. Explore 100+ stalls with handmade gifts, glittering lights, mulled wine and cookie scents in the air. Go elf-hunting in the park, take a play break, and feel the Christmas spirit settle in between the old walls and twinkling lights.

Christmas clutter is spreading, and there is a real Christmas atmosphere in the old royal town. Christmas knas, home-brewed beer, glögg, live workshops, Christmas gift ideas, activities for children, fun museum shops, yes, there is everything the heart desires. 

Oplev CLAYs julemarked 3. december 2025 – en dag fyldt med julestemning, håndlavede gaver og kreativ inspiration. Mød lokale og nationale kunstnere, keramikere og designere, og find unikke julegaver, kunsthåndværk og lokale delikatesser. Markedet breder sig i museets udstillinger, så du kan nyde CLAYs samlinger undervejs. Besøg den stemningsfulde julecafé med varme drikke, julespecialiteter og anretninger til både lille og stor sult. Entré 70 kr., gratis for børn og unge u/18.

On 2 December, CLAY Museum of Ceramic Art in Middelfart fills with Christmas spirit, handmade gifts and creative inspiration. Discover work by local and national artists, ceramicists and designers, browse crafts and local delicacies – and stop by the cosy Christmas café for hot drinks and seasonal treats. The market takes place among the museum’s exhibitions, so there is both art and Christmas gift hunting on the programme.
